Flyover Con is a hands-on conference built for screen printers and decorators who want practical learning, real conversations, and a stronger sense of community.
Hosted inside a working print and embroidery shop in Polk City, Iowa, Flyover Con brings together shop owners, managers, and decorators to learn from people who are actively doing the work every day. Sessions are focused on real-world challenges and solutions, with an emphasis on sharing what actually works on the shop floor and in the office.
Flyover Con is intentionally different from traditional industry events. There are no vendor booths and no sales-driven presentations. Instead, the event is designed around education, transparency, and connection. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions, walk the production floor, and engage directly with speakers and fellow decorators.
The name Flyover Con reflects a belief that great work is happening everywhere, not just in major markets. The Midwest is full of skilled, hardworking shops doing innovative things, and Flyover Con exists to highlight that work while welcoming decorators from across the country.
Practical, Implementable Learning
Sessions focus on topics like sales, webstores, automation, DTF accuracy, multi-decoration workflows, and shop systems. The goal is simple. Attendees should walk away with at least one idea they can implement when they get back to their shop.
Hands-On Experience
The event takes place in the middle of production, not on a stage. Attendees see equipment running, workflows in action, and real examples of how shops operate day to day.
Real Conversations
Speakers are available throughout the event, not hidden away. Conversations continue over coffee, lunch, happy hour, and downtime, creating space for honest discussion and shared problem-solving.
Community Over Competition
Flyover Con is about building a network of people you can lean on. Attendees leave with new industry connections and relationships that extend beyond the event itself.
An Accessible Experience
Flyover Con is designed to be affordable and approachable, making high-quality education available without the pressure or scale of massive trade shows.
